Donna MacIntyre,
MSW.RSW. Grad.Dipl.SA.
Donna has 30 years work experience as a therapist. Her specialties are with innovative, mental health treatments for anxiety, depression, trauma and loss.
Donna’s professional training began at Wilfrid Laurier University, in 1980. Her MSW Internship at Guelph Community Mental Health Clinic and Homewood Health instilled a passion for the alternative therapies. Play therapy, art therapy and a therapeutic horse farm were highlights.
Specific to Veterans and Trauma, Donna is an experienced Trauma Counsellor, Certified as a Critical Incident Stress Debriefer and as a Focusing Trainer.
Dodger, Donnas’ family dog; a magnificent Golden Retriever was awarded an RCMP Commendation for the rescue of a missing person in the White Juan Storm of 2004.

Joanne Moss, President CFAASS and Certified EI Consultant
Joanne is an advocate at heart and has volunteered in the disability community for over 20 years. Her work in the public, private, and non-profit sectors encompass expertise in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Animal Assisted Therapy, Humane Education, administration, and voluntary sector management.
Joanne is an Alumni Member of the Canadian Community Leadership Network and an Alumni Member of the International Summit for Urban Animal Strategies Executive Thought Leaders.
Her passion is fuelled by her desire to work collaboratively to sustain healthy relationships, communities, and organizations.
Joanne’s endeavours include being the founder and president of The Canadian Foundation for Animal Assisted Support Services and FHL Consulting an empowering human resource practice that inspires discovering, developing, designing, and delivering authentic change from the inside out.
Her personal mission statement; is to express her faith, hope, and love through empathy, social responsibility, and interpersonal relationships.

Mandate: to alleviate
suffering of the most marginalized in our society including, the homeless, the
mentally ill, the addicted, and those recently released from jail. Our work
involves providing direct support and the development of programs to end
homelessness. Our most recent project is the proposal submitted to the Federal
and Provincial Governments for the development of a world class institute for
post traumatic stress.
Ron Berresford did
street work in Barrie for ten years and eight years in jails including four and
a half years from the
opening of the "Super Jail" in Penetang. During the previous fifteen
years he worked in addictions and the rehabilitation of injured workers. Read more...
